ESCAPE - From many different places we have come as one, huddled together in a crowded boat.

HOPE - On an odyssey to a better place. We must believe such a place exists. We must believe that all will be well.

FEAR - We are to low in the water. The rain blows in. Everything is wet and cold. Someone begins to cry.

PANIC - The waves are too big. The boat is too full. We are drifting. We are all alone.

FIGHT - We must stay strong. We must be getting near to land. We must stay calm and all will be okay.

INEVITABILITY - Night comes. The waves have risen. The boat is swamped. We cling to each other. We are cold. We are crying. But the ocean offers comfort. Surrender to it. Surrender to the endless silence of inevitability.
